Mimi and Aunt Sally’s first week in Lebanon was full of firsts of all sorts. Will celebrated the arrival of his first tooth. He also had his first visit to the doctor while traveling abroad (for a cough that wound up being from too much teething spit because his first little tooth was apparently not alone). He put all this newfound dental work to good use by having his first drink out of a real cup followed up by his first solid food. It should come as no surprise to anyone that he had no problem with either the eating or drinking!
Photos below are of an assortment of things…cedars plus the countryside up above Saqi, a few shots of the souk (old marketplace) in Jounieh where we went Monday, some of the outside of Jeita grotto (where poor height-adverse Mimi had to ride up a mountain in a gondola only to go down into a cave), some of the Roman ruins up in the ski area above Ajaltoun, and some of Will just generally being cute.
